THAT is a depressing statement Fran… better for Friday Finals…
Hey Fran,
How's it going? I read this monday quote, and I think - what ever happened to integrity and authenticity. Politics - is sleezy, phony and manipulative. The country has too much of that and not enough competence and honesty. Maybe the quickest way is politics, but I don't think it is enduring.
That's my two cents.
This Starter truly ruffled some feathers - which tells me how polarized we are - even the word - POLITICS is polarizing. I was referring to OFFICE politics...the kind where you need to be sure you are visible to and making friendships with people who can effect your future, Strategic Witnesses, as we call them in THE ZONE. The original Starter on the StarterCards (available in The Store) reads like this:
You can't reach the shortest distance between two points without a Strategic Witness. Powerful Allies always trump office politics.
